Myself and a couple other members of the staff will be on vacation this Christmas season. I personally will be absent from December 24 to January 4, but I will probably have chances to get online while I am in California. This is just a warning to let you know that your questions might be answered slower, so please use the Forum before sending a petition, as someone else may be able to assist you with your problems.

Do we keep these three new modifications? Vote here and post your comments in the forums, suggestions to improve these functions will be appreciated!

You can now click on the "Travel" link and visit "Gryffindor" and on the left side of your screen you will seen "Quality Quidditch" from which you can now purchase brooms from! There are ten choices now, but for people with higher VE's new brooms will be soon made available. Inee's Pet Shoppe will be populated with creatures soon so do not owl me about that.

There is a thread in the "Hogwarts Live Forum" entitled "Changes" please post there what changes you don't like and which ones you think I should keep. Please don't post comments like "something makes the game too hard" give me a real reason to make something easier or remove it completely. I can balance anything out if you feel it is too difficult so please tell me what prices and losses would be fair for events and new functions. Don't vote down our site in topsites as it only discourages and annoys me, and in no way helps the game progress. The game is nothing without the players even some of the moderators were annoyed with the new changes so don't feel like I'm not listening to your suggestions.

I'm updating the game this whole week, you might experience a lot of problems. Please spend all your gems you will lose them shortly! (Don't put gems in the bank)

It disheartens me to announce that AstarianJewel and her husband Kilvir have left this site. They were two of the most active moderators I ever had (Astarian holds the record for the most referrals out of any player in the history of the game). Due to this sad event I will be making some administrative additions, you may have noticed Auror Errol. Please welcome him, and the other players I choose for the staff. Do not owl me regarding positions; I will approach players who I deem adequate and trustworthy.

Just this week I have installed some new features, which I hope you'll all enjoy. The forum is a big one; been meaning to have one for a long time. Also the forum is now available when you're dead so you have something to do. I brought back the Flirt With Others option in the Hog's Head Inn. You should check it out. It's still buggy but way less than before!

Take of advantage of the newsletter sign up form at the bottom left hand corner of every page! If you're serious about making the top of the Hogwarts Champion list you need to sign up right now! The newsletter will include, game tips/hints, game spoilers, strategy guides by top players, news concerning the future of HL (game updates),
and special "quests" that will let you get cool stuff like brooms/pets, gems, gold, and donator/referral points! Plus there are much more new features to come!
