His Wizard father was murdered by Aurors when the boy was very small, and his Muggle mother just recently died from a long illness. Now orphaned, Rook must make his way to Ottery St. Catchpole in search of a half-sister he's never met. He's got nothing to go on but an old, rumpled photograph and a name.
