NathanShepard (He/Him) is a 32 year old (DOB: October 3, 1991) pure-blood wizard living in Hogwarts. He wields a 11¾" Ivy, Hippogriff Talon wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. His favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and his favorite Harry Potter character is Sirius Black.

About Me
Nathaniel Liam Shepard was born in a small, hidden thorp magically concealed in the countryside surrounding London. His parents, a Scotsman and an English woman, were both full-blooded wizards who wanted to raise their child among kindred individuals before exposing him to Muggles. His parent's strictest rule involved him always staying close to home, and to never wander past the barriers disguising the hamlet; a rule he often broke.

During his expeditions, he tried to summon the powers he knew he had within himself, but found it very difficult, even though he knew a few arcane words from his parents' teachings. When his attempts failed, he usually just walked around and studied the natural world. One particularly boring afternoon, Nathan tried to manipulate some water from a stream, and found he could actually control it. To his surprise and delight, he began to control other elements as well, such as earth and wind. Several years after he had learned to control the minor aspects of his powers, he was sent to Hogwarts for further teaching. Word that his father went missing whilst searching for Voldemort came just months afterwards.

Nathan is an affable, friendly soul who expresses patience and intellect far beyond his years. His fundamental understanding of magic from a young age and his unique control over elements prove that he is an exceptional wizard. Despite his calm, roguish exterior, Nathan is more than capable of losing his temper or brash acts that are common amongst those his age.
