For 60 years, the people of Japan have given generously to UNICEF, so that less fortunate children around the world could have a brighter future. Today, the children of Japan need your help. It is a privilege to show them the same generosity and empathy they have shown the rest of the world.

Help children in Japan: Donate to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF's emergency appeal for the children affected by the quake and tsunami.

if any of you wish to donate to the red cross's work in japan, then a text with the word "RedCross" to 90999 will donate $10 to the earthquake/tsunami relief. not sure if that applies to people in other countries, but it will for the states.
just thought i'd put that out there :)

My thoughts are with the Japanese people who have lost homes, jobs and friends and family. And also for any tourists that may have been in Japan at this time.
Also, to any other people from neighbouring countries should they be effected by Tsunami's.

I really hope my friends in Japan are okay. Two are in the Air Force, and one is there for a foreign-exchange program. I pray that they, along with others, are okay!
