It is extremely cowardly to abuse them to try and ruin someones holiday to make you feel better about yourself. If you were one of the ones who used the anonymous option on the Holiday Gift module to send someone a gift with a nasty uncalled for message, you have two options, owl them an apology or ruin the game for everyone else around the holiday seasons because we won't install any special ones anymore.
If you know who did this, you can petition their name and encourage them to fess up.

I think this is a horrible things to do. Cowardly. After all the staff and Danilo have done for us, its terrible. Unfair on other players aswell.
It should only be anonymous to the person receiving the gift, the staff should still be able to oversee everything, and still enforce the rules and punish those who are abusing their anonymity.

Honestly, this #@%$ doesn't surprise me at all. There are a lot of immature, petty !#@%$es that have no lives except to stalk HLers and try this @%$!#@%$. I don't think they will apologize. I think Danilo should take out the anonymous option. That way you eliminate the %$!#@%$! mental unstable pull.

I don't think everyone should have to suffer because of the minority. Maybe, if someone clicks anonymous, the staffers should be alerted of who did and what their message is. After all, some people are just being innocently anonymous. :)

I absolutely agree that if the anonymous option can't be overridden by staff, it should be removed. It sucks that the majority of people who use it properly will be without it but at least a lot of it would cease because the people who do that #@%$ don't have a pair anyway.
That is rather horrible... I'm only new here, but I've met alot of very friendly people here. I wouldn't want to see anyone's Christmas extra's get ruined...

wow I am gone for a few months and I come back and see the same old crap is still going on.I am just glad wasnt around for it.It is so sad and pathetic of those few who continue to act hateful and mean because they have sucky rl and they think being rude and mean on here will make them feel better but instead it just shows how big of a loser they must be in rl too.
I don't see why people can't just take what Danilo gives us and use them normally. It really is rather selfish. I hope they do the right thing and apologize so that it isn't ruined.
