OctoberSkies aka Matt (He/Him) is a 33 year old (DOB: October 14, 1990) pure-blood wizard. He wields a 12" Willow, Dragon Heartstring wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. His favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and his favorite Harry Potter character is Remus Lupin.

About Me
My friends call me wise, my family calls me smart, and I call me a wanderer. But I guess I'm a little bit of each.
I play guitar, was in a metal band with an old friend of mine. Things didn't work out.
I volunteer a lot of my time at church as a teacher of religious education.
Between school and church, I take some time to play HL between all the chaos.
I enjoy music with meaning and I love to write and read.
I'm currently studying to become a teacher. My original plan was to teach elementary school but I'm beginning to lean more towards teaching high school writing.
I've been told by some of my friends and students that I look scary and unapproachable but I'm truly a nice person. I joke a lot, though mostly through sarcasm.
I used to play the violin, wasn't great at it. I love the sounds of Bach. JS Bach, not his son.
I play tennis every now and then. My favorite tennis player has to be Rafa Nadal.
