Insidious Decoy aka Leroy (He/Him) is a 29 year old (DOB: August 14, 1995) wizard living in his realm of maddening illusions. He wields a 12¾" Elder, Thestral Hair wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. His favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and his favorite Harry Potter character is Dumbledore.
About Me
Tens upon tens upon thousands of years ago in the Age of Ancients, when magic was still just a natural occurance, deep in within the fog shrouding the unformed world, a fire sparked.
Calls of despair echoed from all over the unshaped lands and tended the flames.
Time flew by and the seed of corruption slowly ingrained deeper among the Human race that had claimed these lands as their own, feeding the fire with its destructive power.
However, it didn't take long for the seed of corruption to take its toll.
Jealousy
Hatred
Despair
Grief
Death was lurking everywhere and the fire had quickly reached a new height, until one day, a demonic being ventured through these flames.
Decoy was born from the very same fire that had brought forth the seed of corruption, feeding on these negative emotions since the very beginning of the Age of Ancients.
As such, he was one with hatred and understood how these emotions were brought out better than anyone.
Capable of manipulating his surroundings, calling upon illusions to the nullify the senses and breaking any mental state by projecting images or manipulating memoriesdirectly into ones mind.
Never being able to find eternal rest had changed Decoy lots, however. It had made him less like a blood-driven psychopath and more like a grumpy old man that really just wants to spend the rest of his time alone.
You can still spot him in a playful mood once in a while, though! And if that ever were the case.. run.
