The Login Streak Office
A small office staffed by a harried clerk who rewards you, in Donator Points, for the heroic and demanding act of logging in. Show up two days in a row and a slip of parchment is filed. Show up long enough and the milestones get larger, the flames on your badge multiply, and the office begins to suspect you of dedication. Miss a day and the register notes it, regretfully, in ink. You will find the Office in the Lodge.
What It Is
The Login Streak Office tracks how many days in a row you have logged in and pays you for the streak. Each counted day credits Donator Points; certain streak lengths pay a one-time milestone bonus on top. A notice appears in your page header the first time you log in each day, showing your current day number, your longest-ever streak, how many Streak Freezes you have banked, and your progress toward the next milestone. The Office itself — the shop and the leaderboard — is reached from the Lodge.
How Streaks Work
A streak counts consecutive calendar days, measured against the castle's own clock — server UTC midnight — not your local time zone and not game days. The first login of each server-day advances the streak by one; later logins that same server-day do nothing (the day is already filed). The clerk does not care how long you stay or what you do, or where in the world you're logging in from — attendance is measured on the castle's schedule, not yours.
- Log in one day after the last counted day — your streak goes up by one.
- Log in the same day twice — nothing changes. The day was already credited.
- Log in after a gap — see Breaking a Streak below.
Your longest streak is recorded separately and never goes down, so a broken streak is still memorialized as your personal best. The header badge sprouts more flames as you climb: one flame to start, two at day 7, three at day 30.
The Reward Schedule
Every counted day pays a base daily Donator Point award that grows as your streak lengthens:

On top of the daily award, certain days pay a one-time milestone bonus the moment you reach them:

So the day you reach Day 7, for example, you collect 2 DP for showing up plus a 10 DP milestone bonus, and the badge picks up a second flame. The Office considers all of this a perfectly reasonable amount of paperwork.
The Shop
From the Lodge, the Login Streak Office sells three supplies for players who prefer their habits supervised by paperwork. All are paid for in Donator Points; default prices are shown.
- Streak Freeze — 50 DP. Insurance against a single missed day. You may bank up to three at a time; a fourth is refused on the grounds that any more would have you filed under Weather Control.
- Streak Booster — 100 DP. Adds up to three days to your current streak — but never beyond your longest streak, because optimism is not stocked here. If your current streak already equals your best, no booster is available. Limited to once every seven days.
- Streak Recovery — 200 DP. After a streak breaks, this restores it to half the length it was when it broke (rounded down). It only works while that half-value is still higher than your current streak, and is limited to once every thirty days. Buying it also clears the broken record, so you cannot recover the same fall twice.
Breaking a Streak
If you log in and more than one day has passed since your last counted day, the streak is broken and resets to Day 1. The register records the length it reached when it stopped, and the office offers its traditional administrative sigh.
There is exactly one act of forgiveness built in: the Streak Freeze. If you miss a single day — exactly one gap day — and you have a freeze banked, the freeze is spent automatically and your streak continues unbroken, as though yesterday's attendance slip had been quietly forged. Freezes only cover a one-day gap; a longer absence breaks the streak regardless of how many you hold. Outside of freezes, there is no automatic grace period: two missed days resets you.
A broken streak is not entirely lost. Your longest streak still stands as your record, the broken length can later be partially restored with a Streak Recovery from the shop, and a Streak Booster can buy back a few days of a streak that is below your personal best.
The Welcome Back Office
Disappear entirely and a different desk handles your return. If you have been away for long enough and have never claimed it before, your first login back grants a one-time Welcome Back Pack in Donator Points, scaled to how long you were gone:

The 90-day threshold is the default and may be adjusted by an administrator. The pack is granted once per account: the castle pretends not to have noticed your absence, files you under Alumni, and issues a parcel rather than admit it missed you.
The Leaderboard
The Office has reluctantly agreed to post the top ten current streaks where everyone can see them — name, current streak, and personal best — with your own row marked. Whether this inspires diligence or a panicked purchase of Streak Freezes, the clerk declines to speculate. Your current streak is printed at the bottom regardless of whether you made the board.
Strategy
- Don't break it. The daily award climbs from 2 to 3 to 5 DP the longer you go, and the milestone bonuses are front-loaded with one enormous payout at Day 365. A single reset throws away all of that progress except your recorded best.
- Keep a freeze banked. At 50 DP, a freeze is cheap insurance against one bad day. Bank up to three so a stretch of forgetfulness doesn't undo a long climb.
- Use Recovery only after a real fall. It restores half the broken length and only when that beats your current streak — most valuable after a long streak collapses, not a short one.
- A Booster can't exceed your best. It is a catch-up tool for a streak rebuilding toward your record, not a way to leapfrog it.
- The clock is the castle's, not yours. The day boundary is server midnight (UTC), so if you're playing from a time zone far from the server's, "today" may flip over earlier or later than your own local midnight. Log in with that in mind if you're chasing a streak near the boundary.
The Login Streak Office: an institution that has discovered, to its mild administrative satisfaction, that the most reliably rewarded act of heroism is simply continuing to exist on consecutive days.
