A great many things have happened since the middle of July, most of them without anyone in the Ministry filling out the correct forms first. Here is what actually matters.

The Wizengamot exists now. You can vote for a seat, run on a platform, and watch your minister veto things anyway. Seats are allocated by House quota, measures rise and fall on council votes, and if you climb high enough you get a robe (and, if you become Minister, a lime green bowler hat) that no amount of gold can buy anyone else. Governance, it turns out, mostly means committees.

Hogsmeade can be conquered. Clubs now hold real ground: thirteen nodes across three districts, priced, banded, and decaying gently over time so nobody can sit on a throne forever without paying rent. Miss your weekly dues and the bank finds a way to remind you. Win enough and your club's name shows up in a hall of fame nobody asked to have named after them.

The Champions page. Every leaderboard in the game, Quidditch, Arcade, dueling, alignment, login streaks, all of it, now lives in one public place, drawn from a single source of truth instead of eleven slightly different ones. Vanity, properly centralized.

The Guide grew teeth. Full, searchable catalogs for every weapon, piece of armor, and creature in the game, several hundred entries each.

Your dorm got a social life. Guestbooks, a privacy toggle for those who'd rather not host, a daily "Best Dressed" spotlight, and, for the recently deceased, the ability to haunt other people's dorms out of Indefinite Detention. Death, as ever, remains only a minor inconvenience.

Diagon Alley has a boutique. Mannequins, a rotating weekly rare item, and a proper venue for buying someone a gift, complete with wrapping paper and a note, because apparently that mattered enough to build.

Wardrobe items you earn now stay earned. A new granted tier means anything given to you for actually doing something can never be sold off, farmed, or leaked into the general market. Effort, briefly, means something. So you get to keep your Minister of Magic lime green bowler hat and your Wizengamot robes.

A Daily Counsel now appears in both courts, meaning the Auror Office and Ashika's Order of the Daggers, offering rank-aware advice and the occasional warning about special days, because someone decided both sides of the law needed more people telling other people what to do.

House Points finally explain themselves. If you're unsorted, the game will now say so instead of letting your points vanish into a house that doesn't exist, which is more honesty than most bureaucracies manage.

Forums and the blog got real faces. Posts and comments now show colored names and actual profile pictures instead of a wall of identical text, which turns out some people care about.

One more thing, and it isn't new, but it is apparently still a secret to some of you: if you haven't built your avatar or decorated your dorm yet, go do it. Both live on your profile's edit page, Profile → Edit. It took a genuinely long time to get all of it working, the wardrobe, the recolors, the room decorating, the whole business, so the least you can do is go look presentable.

That is, roughly, everything. More will happen. Probably.
