Valentine Basket: where house elves manifest a romantic lounge in your House common room and spend eight days decorating heart-shaped boxes with little bows and ribbons including one with YOUR name scribed upon it while couples gather in the softly lit candlelight dancing upon the walls singing love songs and laughing merrily and blowing kisses to each other creating this wholesome romantic atmosphere and you watch the boxes remain empty for days building anticipation until three days before Valentine's when house elves start giving you free magical alcoholic beverages specifically Sweetheart Sangria Swirl which makes you become a whirling dervish with ten percent attack and defense bonuses for fifteen combat rounds because nothing says romance like temporary violence buffs and they give you this same drink for two consecutive days and then on Valentine's Eve they upgrade you to Cherry Cherub Cordial which also gives ten percent attack and defense bonuses creating this three-day period where you can plan your forest exploration and PvP battles around free magical cocktails that make you better at stabbing things. Then on Valentine's Day itself you eagerly search through the boxes along the wall finding the one with your name and discovering it's finally full and you pull out your gift which is randomly one of seven possibilities with equal fourteen-point-three percent probability: either two extra forest fights or two gems or two hundred gold or three gems or three hundred gold which ranges from basically worthless to moderately valuable, or alternatively you get a cup full of love which is the Holiday Love buff giving you twenty percent attack and defense bonuses for thirty-five rounds making it the best possible outcome worth several gems equivalent in combat value, OR the final possibility is that someone has decided you haven't been a deserving person this year and filled your box with rocks giving you absolutely nothing as Valentine's punishment for your moral failures throughout the year. The expected value is around one-point-six gems per opening plus the three days of free combat buffs making this a positive expected value event with no cost and no downside except the fourteen percent chance of rock-based rejection, and after Valentine's Day the celebrations end and you see remnants scattered around and the now-empty boxes get removed from the Lover's Lounge which remains accessible year-round but becomes a sad empty candlelit room where couples used to whisper and coo to each other in the commentary system. The whole module is based on the Christmas Stocking system but reskinned for Valentine's with the core mechanic being house elves creating a romantic location, giving you free magical drinks that make you better at violence, and providing random gifts that judge your worthiness as a person, perfectly capturing the spirit of Valentine's Day which is apparently about combat buffs and potential rock-based humiliation.
