The Office - PVP Training Center
Purpose: Permanent stat increases for PVP combat
Location: Appears in Ministry navigation
Training Options:
Two types of training available:
Attack Training:
- Cost: gold + gems (scales with current stat level)
- Effect: Permanently increase base attack stat
- Cost increases as stat gets higher
- No daily limit (train as much as you can afford)
Defense Training:
- Cost: gold + gems (scales with current stat level)
- Effect: Permanently increase base defense stat
- Cost increases as stat gets higher
- No daily limit (train as much as you can afford)
Cost Scaling:
- Formula typically: base cost × (1 + current stat level × multiplier)
- Early training: cheap (few hundred gold, 1-2 gems)
- Late training: expensive (thousands of gold, 5+ gems)
- Exponential scaling prevents infinite grinding

- Elite Services: Premium features requiring ministry access
- Quest Givers: High-level quest NPCs
- PVP Arenas: Advanced combat training areas
Actual features depend on server configuration and additional modules installed.
Settings
- minve: Minimum Voldemort Encounters required to access (default 7)
- Permission System: Admin-controlled whitelist (can restrict even if VE met)
- Office Training Costs: Configurable formulas for attack/defense training prices
Strategy
When to Start Training:
- As soon as you hit 7 VE (default) and get permission
- Early training is cheapest - every point costs less initially
- Regular training over time more efficient than waiting
Attack vs. Defense Priority:
- Attack-focused: If you rely on killing opponents quickly in PVP
- Defense-focused: If you prefer surviving longer in combat
- Balanced: Equal investment in both stats for versatility
Resource Management:
- Save gems specifically for Ministry training
- Gold from daily grinding funds regular training sessions
- Calculate cost before committing to training
Long-Term Investment: Ministry training is the primary gold/gem sink for endgame players. Every stat point is permanent, making this the most reliable long-term progression system for PVP.
PVP Advantage: Players who train regularly at Ministry have significantly higher base stats than those who don't. Over time, this creates substantial PVP power gap between Ministry users and non-users.
Comparison to Equipment: Unlike equipment that can break or be lost, Ministry stat increases are permanent character progression. Prioritize Ministry training over expensive consumables.
Ministry of Magic: where elite wizards go to throw piles of gold and gems at bureaucrats in exchange for marginally better punching stats. It's like a government DMV, except instead of waiting in line for a driver's license, you're grinding for permission to hit people harder.
