The Milestone Reward Desk

A small desk in the Prefect's Lounge, staffed by a clerk whose entire job is to solemnly acknowledge how many times you have run into the Dark Lord and lived to file the paperwork. Reach 250, 750, 1500, or 2000 lifetime Voldemort Encounters and the desk hands over a one-time pile of Donator Points. The clerk does not congratulate you so much as confirm, for the record, that this keeps happening.

What It Is

Over a long career you accumulate Voldemort Encounters (VE) — your lifetime tally of major brushes with You-Know-Who. The Milestone Reward Desk watches that number and keeps four reward shelves stocked. When your VE count crosses one of four marks, that shelf's reward becomes available to claim: a fixed payout of Donator Points (DP).

The rewards are extra — on top of whatever you already earned reaching those encounters. The desk simply notices the milestone and pays out for the milestone itself.

The Milestone Ladder

Four marks, four payouts. That is the entire ladder; the clerk insists four reward shelves are quite enough for one afternoon.

250 Voldemort Encounters250 VE35 DPThe point at which enthusiasm becomes paperwork.
750 Voldemort Encounters750 VE75 DPYour file is now thick enough to alarm a sensible archivist.
1500 Voldemort Encounters1500 VE125 DPThe office stops pretending your visits are temporary.
2000 Voldemort Encounters2000 VE200 DPThe clerk has run out of words and settled for a larger pile of forms.

Total across all four shelves: 435 DP, paid out as you reach each mark. The shelves are independent — you do not lose an earlier reward by passing it, and you do not have to claim them in order (though VE only ever goes up, so you will reach them in order anyway).

Where to Find It

The desk lives in the Prefect's Lounge. From the Lounge, look for "Milestone Reward Desk" under the Rewards nav heading. The desk page shows your current standing — how many Voldemort Encounters you have, how many Donator Points you currently have available, and the status of each of the four shelves. A "Return to the Lounge" link sends you back when the clerk is done with you.

Claiming Rewards

The desk does not pay automatically. Each eligible, unclaimed shelf shows a "Claim [milestone]" button under a Claim Rewards heading. Click it and the clerk processes the paperwork:

  • The Donator Points are added to your account immediately.
  • The claim is written into the ledger, and the desk offers you a block to share your milestone if you want to brag about your accumulated misfortune.
  • Each shelf is one-time only. Once claimed, the row reads "Claimed on [date]" and the button is gone — the clerk notes that the milestone has already been recorded in the ledger and will not be recorded twice.

If you have not yet reached a mark, that shelf shows how many VE to go instead of a button. There is nothing to do but go encounter the Dark Lord some more and come back.

Status at a Glance

Every shelf reports one of three states:

  • Claim available — you have reached the mark and have not yet claimed it. The button is waiting.
  • "N VE to go" — you have not reached the mark yet. N is how many more Voldemort Encounters you need.
  • "Claimed on [date]" — the reward has been collected and logged. Done forever.
