Forest Fool Encounter

Random forest event. Another player (chosen randomly from all alive players) leaps from bushes and hits you in face with random object: cream pie, tomato, wet trout, baby diaper, or smelly sock. 20% chance they drop a gem.

How It Works

Random forest event (25% base chance). Triggers once per day or once per VE (configurable). System picks random alive player to be the "fool."

The Event

  1. See movement in bushes ahead
  2. Brace for trouble
  3. Random player jumps out
  4. Smacks you with random object
  5. Runs off giggling
  6. You wipe mess from face
  7. Conclude they need professional help

Possible Objects

Randomly selected:

  • Cream pie
  • Tomato
  • Wet trout
  • Baby diaper
  • Smelly sock

Gem Drop

20% chance (1 in 5) that fool drops a gem in their haste to escape.

Message: `3Glancing down, you happen to spot a gem that silly fool dropped in all the excitement!`n`n

+1 gem to your inventory.

News Announcement

Event announced to server:

`3[Your Name] `2was smacked in the face with a `3[object] `2by `6[Fool's Name] `2in the forest today!

Public humiliation for your entertainment.

No Players Available

If no other alive players exist, "a leering young fop" appears instead. Generic NPC fills the fool role. No news announcement. Still chance for gem drop.

Strategy

None. Pure random comedy event. No choices, no consequences beyond mild embarrassment. Hope for gem drop (20%). Laugh at absurdity. Continue forest fighting.

Dignified wizarding combat interrupted by slapstick violence. A wet trout to the face builds character. Or so they tell you after laughing hysterically at your expense.
