What This Module Does

Installation Process:

  1. Check if pets table exists (requires Pet Shop v3.8+)
  2. Insert 30 new pet records into database
  3. Display success message
  4. Auto-uninstall itself (prevents re-running)
  5. Prompt admin to delete extrapets.php file (optional cleanup)

Why Auto-Uninstall?

  • Prevents accidentally running installer twice
  • Avoids duplicate pet entries in database
  • Module serves no purpose after installation
  • Code explicitly says: "Stop looking at me in horror, I'm serious! Your new pets are still there!"

Strategy

Combat Pets: If you want pet that helps in fights, target combat-enabled pets (dogs, big cats, phoenix, hawk). Bengal Tiger has highest max attack (29).

Charm Optimization: Bengal Tiger (charm 150) and Phoenix (charm 135) are best for charm stat if you can afford them.

Budget Options: Chicken (2,500g) is cheapest pet if you just want ANY pet. Mastiff (5,250g + 2 gems) is cheapest combat pet.

Prestige Pets: Phoenix and Bengal Tiger are status symbols. Show off your wealth.

Roleplay Picks: Penquin for comedy, Hairless Cat for exotic flair, Chicken for ironic minimalism.

Extra Pets: where you install a module once to unlock 30 new ways to spend gold on digital animals. The phoenix costs 35,000 gold. Worth it? Absolutely not. Will you buy it anyway? Probably.
