XxXxaphanXxX aka Harry Shires (He/Him) is a 29 year old (DOB: July 26, 1994) muggle-born wizard. He wields a 15½" Cypress, Leprechaun Hair wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. His favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and his favorite Harry Potter character is Albus Dumbledore.

About Me
My name is Xaphan Iuzzini .I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the product of a Catholic father with roots in Italy and a Jewish mother of Russian and Austrian ancestry. In my early years of education, the frustration with teachers mispronouncing my last name seemed as though it might never end. I remember how my father would approach the administrators of my elementary school before Honor Roll ceremonies to be sure they would pronounce it correctly as I walked across the stage for my moment of glory.

The terror did not end until the seventh grade when I had my first course in Spanish, at which point my teacher had some experience with "exotic" names and got "you-zee-nee" correct on the first try. I began to question whether it was acceptable to have a unique heritage which did not coincide with the majority in my neighborhood. During my middle-school years, I sat back and listened to one anti-Semitic comment after another, half-enjoying the fact that my last name afforded me an escape from any direct harassment.

The irony of this time was that I was also enrolled at hogwarts. A school for the gifted. Now that i was sure of my speciality, i vowed myself to become the greatest wizard in all of the wizard-kind. I was not the kind to live under my parents's limelight. That was my basic motivation to do well even at my studies, sports and other activities. But i now have a even greater opportunity. I have the chances of overtaking every muggle, and even further extended, every witch and wizard and fulfill my destiny of glory and fame overshadowing my muggle father's fame and every other great wizard who have and are yet to come..

With that fire in my heart, i leap into my world of magical education......honing way into my brighter future........
