About Me
At 18 years old, and standing at just barely 5'2'', Day is small for her age. Locks the color of sunflowers hang in waves over her shoulders, framing an oval face. Her pale skin is littered by a light scattering of freckles across her cheeks and nose, and her wide blue eyes are lined in long lashes. Though generally friendly and cheerful, Day only truly lets a select few people into her confidence. Unpredictable, Day's mood is liable to change in the blink of an eye and a smile can easily find a place on her lips. Her childhood experiences cause her to slow to trust, but that doesn't keep her bubbly and energetic spirit from affecting those around her.

Day's childhood was a rough one, consisting of taunts and blows, insults and injuries. Her only source of comfort as a young girl was her twin brother, Dusk. He was always there for her, always protected her the best he could from the unpredictable wrath of their wizard parents, who despised their two children. One night, when the twins were eight, Dusk returned home to find Day cowering in the corner, their mother trapping her against the wall as she drew long scratches down the girl's arm with a kitchen knife. Day's poorly contained whimpers of pain cut straight to her brother's heart, and something in him snapped then. When she opened her eyes again, Day was met by the sight of her parents' unmoving bodies, lying in a pool of blood. After that, the children fled, leaving the muggle police to puzzle over what might've happened that night. They sought refuge with an aunt they had met only once before.
It was then that the two siblings began to grow apart. Day soon adjusted to their new life and she adored her aunt. Dusk, however, never recovered from the trauma of killing his parents. He grew cold and bitter, shutting out everyone except for occasionally Day. As the twins grew up, Dusk only got worse. Throughout their years at Hogwarts, Dusk distanced himself from the other students, while Day, with her bright sm
